IT FEELS GREAT TO BE APPRECIATED

When you feel unappreciated, you may start to wonder…”what I am even doing this for. Does anyone care, other than me?” You work so hard or you care so much, and think, does it even matter? You can begin to doubt whether you are doing the right thing and start to feel like you are wasting your valuable time. You are still willing to continue, as long as you are making a difference. It has to feel like all this time and effort is worthwhile.

You are probably the type of person that doesn’t expect much. You are being who you are and doing the best that you can. You are putting in this effort, because it is your character and not for recognition. But there is no denying that it feels great when your efforts are not going unnoticed. A little thanks goes a long way. You can be so close to giving up, and someone comes along and says a simple thank you and shows appreciation for your hard work or commitment. You feel appreciated and valued…and then what happens? In a matter of seconds, a few words can give you the fuel to continue and to go that extra mile.

 

It feels great to be appreciated. Show the people in your life that you appreciate them.

 

Feeling Appreciated at Work

This is the biggest one. If you do not feel appreciated at work, you may feel like going someplace else. It can get to the point where the money may not be worth how you are feeling. If you are the employer, it only takes a few moments to make someone feel appreciated.

Feeling Appreciated in Relationships/Friendships

Each person in a relationship or friendship needs to feel appreciated, valued and cherished. You do not want to take these important people for granted.

Personal Endeavors

You may take initiative and start up your own business, group, or have personal goals. You may start with the intent of helping others, or even yourself. Without some positive feedback or appreciation, you may get discouraged. This can be challenging, as you may be doing everything on your own. This is where you will have to rely on self-recognition.

 

It feels great to be appreciated. Show the people in your life that you appreciate them.

 

It is important for you and the ones around you to feel appreciated. It only takes a few moments, but it makes the world of difference. You have the power to make a great impact on someone’s life. You may notice that others will start to appreciate you more in return. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
