10 PERFECT REASONS TO NOT BE A PERFECTIONIST

Perfectionist are too busy being “perfect”, being the best and excelling at everything. When you are a perfectionist, you believe that there is only one right way; which is the “perfect” way.  You spend your life trying to keep up to these unrealistic and often impossible to reach standards. You get disappointed because no one else can do things as perfectly as you can.  You end up doing most of the things yourself.

Three weeks ago, I wrote about people pleasing and I had received many messages and feedback. If you are a people pleaser, than you are most likely a perfectionist. From experience, the two often go hand-in-hand. You may be too busy trying to please people and perfect things, that you may not have much time to think. You may have the belief that there is nothing better than being perfect, right? It took me many years to figure out that life gets much better when you stop being a perfectionist.
